
Bad Habits Can Be Helpful - No Kidding!
Some times bad habits can be blessing in disguise. Though they cause problems most of the time, there are times when they seem to suit the setting accurately. Since most of the people have some or the other bad habits, it is perhaps better that they have a caring side too.
Some people have the bad habit of pointing out other people's mistakes. They keep finding faults with their friends and members of the family too. It is quite irritating and trying for the person being singled out. Because of this resentment can be build up over a period.
However, there are chances that the person actually points out the bad habits you are not aware of. They may prevent you from making blunder. You may not be exactly thankful to them, but you may definitely glad that you heard their criticism.
Procrastination is normally the most common of the bad habits. People often put off doing something they know they aught to do. They decide to do it but some other day. On certain occasion procrastination can justify to be useful if the situation takes a turn. For example, you wanted to water your garden but for some reason you postpone doing it. Then the same night it might rain suddenly, so because of your procrastination you saved both your effort as also water.
If you are a complainer, people will tell you tat you have bad habits. It creates a negative atmosphere when someone constantly sees only bad in every thing. However, in certain situation only if you complain you achieve something. Some managers manage by the assumption that the person complaining the loudest needs the attention. In short noisy wheel gets the grease.
Being a workaholic is generally considered a bad habit. It is not only bad for your relationship but for your health too. People feel that they will not be successful if they do not work hard which is not true. Of course some time doing a little bit extra does pay off. This proves true when you let yourself indulge in this bad habit for duration of a short project only.
If you are too obstinate, you will be blamed of bad habits like always wanting things your way. You will not be satisfied unless things are going as you want them to be. This is normally considered a bad habit. Many a time, though, it assumes the form of determination. This is a positive quality making it feasible for you to hold on through the thick and thin.
Breaking the law will always be considered bad habits. There are other bad habits like stealing, drug peddling, hostility, etc. On the other hand, it is a fact that some of the world's biggest heroes havebeen caught breaking the laws of their own countries.
They did it in civil defiance of laws they felt were unjust or cruel. The world would be a different place If these people had been afraid of having these "bad habits." That is the reason that all habits can not be strictly called bad or good. It has to go by the situation.
